Maine Art Glass offers 7 classes weekly in 3 glass-based areas; stained glass, fused glass and mosaic tiling. We pride ourselves on our expert instruction in all aspects of glass art with workspaces for up to 20 students.

In addition to continuous intermediate and advanced open workshops, beginner classes are offered in morning, afternoon and evening sessions. Below are some examples of what students can expect to learn about;

• copper foil and lead came stained glass construction

• Kiln-formed glass - slumping and fusing

• open flame torch work (lampworking) beads, marbles and sculpture

• repairing and restoration of stained glass

• stepping stones and garden stakes

• sandblasting and etching glass

• painting and enameling on glass

• lamp and panel construction

• jewelry and ornament construction
