Fusing Class—6 weeks
with Bonnie Faulkner
This class is designed for basic beginners as well as intermediate fusers. Topics will include glass specifications and properties for fusing Bullseye 90, general kiln operation, glass characteristics, discussion about dichroics, glass layering methods and slumping. Students will come away with at least 3 completed projects ranging from slumped bowls or plates, tile designs and or jewelry elements. During each class there will be ample time for discussion, execution of technique exploration and critique of fired work. Bring a notebook for notes and sketches.
For this class, students must purchase their own glass to use for projects and pay firing fees. Use of studio tools and grinders are always free of charge for our students. Six weeks $95
